he is here to tell us all about that. >> todd: we begin with brooke singman who is covering the details, brooke. >> republicans on house committee say the covid origins likely tied to china's bio weapons program. the staff includes there are indications that covid-19 might be tied to china's biological weapons research program and spilled over to the human population during the lab related incident at the wuhan institute of virology. this comes as house republicans launch an investigation over taxpayer money sent to the wuhan lab. they will demand testimony from the biden administration officials when they take control of the chamber in january. meanwhile florida governor ron desantis and sparring with dr. anthony fauci calling for a grand jury investigation into the covid vaccine. tweeting earlier this week, "florida will hold the medical staff accountable by a grand jury to investigate mrna shots

>> house republicans say this investigation will be the top priority next month, carley, todd. >> carley: brooke singman thank you so much. let's bring in chains, ranking member of the house oversight committee. congressman, good morning to you we want to get to that in just a minute but the intel committee report that says covid-19 may be tied to china's bio weapons program. do you know what information ledger colleagues to come to that conclusion? >> the intelligence committee has what congress is privy to peer they have efforts to communicate regularly with our intelligence committee and i high level of frustration with intelligence community that hasn't been upfront with the american people. they have information that would point directly to the research being done in the wuhan lab as being a part of biological weapons term. what is frustrating to me is the

fact that american tax dollars were actually playing a role in that. so, there are a lot of things out of this report every american should be outraged, not only the fact that tax dollars is going to fund for skein of function research and the bio weapons but the fact that the intelligence community has not been forthcoming with the american people about what was going on in that lab. >> todd: let's get to the probe. you have been on the program better part of two years giving us information providing evidence that you have found that has led conclusions that have shocked the american people. there are some latest evidence out there that has led you and jim jordan to launch a probe. what is that evidence? it was in the crosshairs? what can you tell us? >> eco-alliance company is in the crosshairs. it is disappointing nobody has been one of the house of representatives over the past two and a half years but they

are the american company that your tax dollars and sending those tax dollars to the wuhan lab for gain-of-function research. dr. fauci denied this was happening for the longest time. but this company is out of compliance with our grant peer they got grant dollars and there is all these government bureaucrats to be in charge first of all of of allocating the dollars but secondly ensuring the grant being used the way they were intended. we have identified every government employee from the bottom all the way up involved in the decision making process for award eco-health alliance grant. secondly, to ensure they were in compliance. we know they were never in compliance. they weren't using the grant dollars for what the grant was intended to peer they weren't giving reports back to the government on the progress of their grants. so i think a lot of people were expecting us to come out of the gate and go after dr. fauci and

dr. collins. what we have been doing is getting a list of all the government employees and these are the ones we want to talk to first. they were shocked when we asked to meet with them and the committee. these will be some of the first people we interview in january. speed to follow the money. in october there w was a report nih recently awarded $650,000 to eco-health alliance, once again. so, is taxpayer dollars, taxpayer money going to gain-of-function research right now? >> yes peer that is the craziest thing i've ever heard. that is so frustrating. the democrats have never had one oversight committee here dealing with covid-19. the fact that our government after all we know with eco-health alliance, all we know they were getting tax dollar sent into the wuhan lab and were not on us with the about it. and then a few weeks ago the biden administration award

$650,000 more? are you kidding me? what an insult to the taxpayer and every family that suffered a loss because of covid-19. this has to stop. we will hold every administrative official accountable for these decisions peer they will have an opportunity to come and do interviews, transcribed interviews. if they don't transcribe interviews they will get a subpoena. we are serious about this. we want to know every detail of every decision that was made from the very start to the very end with respect to all the tax dollars that went to eco-health alliance. >> todd: congressman you explain you were trying to explain every single person you identify the connection to this. but. but obviously, the face of this pandemic for better or worse was dr. val g. how much of your probe will focus on dr. anthony fauci? >> a lot. all that has been mention with respect to covid-19 has been

dr. fauci and just high level government employees. what we will do in our investigation before we bring dr. fauci in front of the committee, we will interviewed dozens and dozens and dozens of government employees that had decision-making authority, not only to give tax dollars to eco-health alliance, but the scientist that dr. fauci are referred to that got us back and gave him a dream line to say or do what he wanted with respect to vaccines, mass vaccines, shutting the economy down. these scientists we later learned were also getting grants from the nih. so, we identified every employee that had any responsibility with respects to tax dollars not look eco-health alliance but these scientists were getting dr. fauci's back up letting every decision that he made that we now know many decisions were necessary and placed undue burden on the american people.

we will ask everyone of these employees to give us a start-to-finish an analysis why they made decisions to give our tax dollars to the private companies and to the scientists for covid. you know, we have all been impacted negatively by covid-19. we all know someone who died of covid-19. those have children in the public school system can tell you our children are behind because of having been forced to go in person. and showed him and never reopened because the decisions dr. fauci lead that placed the economy and a shutdown mode. >> carley: congressman when it comes to the possible bio weapons leak, it doesn't look like this leak was intentional but leaked by accident. still, big picture. what do you think this means to look for a relationship with china if this turns out to be true? >> well, it shouldn't be good. this next congress is going to

have to get serious about standing up to china. i have said all along i fear the biden administration's compromise because if you go back to other investigation the biden family has received millions of millions of dollars from china. every decision that joe biden makes, it appears that china first come america last policy. why wouldn't our intelligence community go in there on day one and investigate the wuhan lab? everyone knew there was 99.9% likelihood that covid-19 started in the wuhan lab. but it appears in the intelligence lab and confirms the intelligence community went to great links to hide what was really going on in that lab. the intelligence community led this. this is another black eye on the intelligence community. we have seen what's going on with the fbi. the cia has as many problems. we have to have our new leadership and intelligence because they continue to fail at times when we really need them.

the country feels like we are in a recession. they are thinking about their own personal finances. more on this polling. end of year polling so this is general wrap up how people feel in 2022. the economy most important issue for both republicans and democrats and then a huge split. it will come no surprise republicans, immigration, border security for second-most issue followed distantly by abortion and then crime 6%. for democrats after the economy, the second most important issue is climate change, abortion, voting rights integrity and then crime and health care. so now, there are some democrats in washington finally that are a little bit of a bipartisan push when it comes to border security. wait a second, something is going on with fight to make title 42 we have to address it. >> todd: all these people when it comes to crime obviously

can't handle it, yet, they are like sanctuary city. you can as the federal government and in all likely they will give it to you because working together. >> carley: it is a huge problem in new york city a massive problem in texas where kevin showed the video of these mass releases of illegal immigrants into el paso and brownsville. the shelters there are so overwhelmed that people, they had no place to go and sleeping on the streets. if that happened under the trump administration, that would be the biggest humanitarian crisis. it would be at the front page of every single website and you are saying no backlash. whereas where is congressman alexandria ocasio-cortez? she was at the border with crime and looking at parking lot but nowhere to be found. then, you have john kirby with promise of lifting a foot title 42. his message was, don't worry about it.

by the way title 42 is going away next week. individuals attempt to cross the border illegally and don't have the legal basis to remain here will be subject to removal. that was his message after title 42 is repealed. but the question is, when will it be subject, immediately, and five, ten years and are we talking about catch and release and what does he mean? nobody on capitol hill nose and democrats are pushing back. there was this bipartisan group that wrote the biden administration a litter sagging, give us an update. what is your plan when title 42 goes away because there is this massive encampment of illegal immigrants on the mexican side of the board of that will be coming across. the second it is repealed. even democrats john said if there is not a plan, the biden administration needs to do everything they can to press pause on the lifting of this title. >> todd: i think thereis a pland it.

people year. how is our current united states infrastructure from the roads to the schools to the housing to everything handle that number? >> carley: as you are talking, this footage on the screen. i think people who have been watching fox news for the past two years might get a little desensitized by the long lines of people trying to get into the country. but just think, every single person who is in that line represents five, ten, what $15,000 to mexican drug cartels. it snaps you back into reality how insane and how dangerous this entire situation is. you have to wonder really where the biden administration is right now on this issue. when you have the mexican drug cartels making out like bandits. it is a national security threat when you think of the 98 people on terror watch list that were caught trying to get into the country let alone all the known cutaways. and like you said, the taxpayers in the middle of all of this.

there is a proposed regulation from the department of education and a regulation that went into effect this summer from the department of agriculture. they are attempting to redefine sex not on biology but gender identity. if you think you're a boy or you think you are a girl, you are. what that will ultimately do is not expand title 9 meant to protect the rights and opportunities of women and girls but that will dismantle title 9. that is what we are trying to stand up against. >> carley: for the resolution passed, but what does it mean? how much weight does that hold in ohio imposing these title 9 changes? >> sure here at resolution itself does not have the force of law but one of the things that will do is send out a letter to every district in the entire state, every superintendent and each and every elected board member in

ohio conveying our position as a state board of education and conveying the status of these regulations. there is a lot of confusion about the status. you have a department of education regulation, which is not even in effect but merely propose status. the company and guidance documents have been joined by the federal court. but meanwhile, we see a lot of districts make changes. we are trying to let them know, look, this is the status of these things. >> carley: charlotte, what do you think about this debate? do you stay in opposition to the title 9 changes? >> absolutely. this is anti-regulations. we believe government for, of, by the people. we know children need to parents to their education process. we believe in local control in the state of ohio. each district is free to design a system of education that values every unique child. that they come up with options and opportunities for every

unique child that we engage with caregivers, parents and members for every child. what we want to do is create and build the capacity of our students to compete not only in the state and across this nation and around the world. we are about future for ohio. >> carley: charlotte, could there be repercussions to this? could the government take out the microwave funding if you don't implement the policies? >> they will try, but i think congressmen get to decide that. we need to believe in our children. aunt pregrant to succumb to government. there are checks and balances. and this has to be from the people, by the people, and for the people whom they are representing. it is not anti-any youth.

it is anti-regulation. it is antigovernment overreach. >> carley: a lot of people will agree with you on fighting back against antigovernment overreach. and i was talking to a dad earlier on this topic. his whole take away, boys should be on the boys teams and girls hunt the girls teams. but overall when it comes to education so many important things to talk about especially test scores nationwide were lowered before the pandemic. 20 more seconds to respond to that. >> absolutely. and we think the focus should be razor focused on education and unfortunately, these issues really distract from education. and we see them pushed out the federal level certainly in many ways. we are saying, we should get back to education. boys should be boys, girls should be girls and by the way when you push a regulation like this, you will no longer be able to track a measure in a
